ABOUT ME
Hi I’m Allan. I am a qualified City of London Tour Guide and Associate of the Institute of Tour Guiding. I have lived in London for around 40 years, I am passionate about the history of this amazing city and would love to share it with you.
So come with me and discover the stories hidden inside the buildings and around the winding lanes and streets which shaped the City. My tours bring the square mile to life, guiding you through centuries of history, the people, culture, taking you on a journey into the heart of the capital. From Roman ruins, medieval churches, the iconic St Paul's and historical financial institutions, to the disasters and plagues the city faced, each lane and alleyway has a story to tell.
Along the way we'll combine fascinating historical insights with hidden gems many visitors overlook. Whether you are visiting for the first time or rediscovering the city you know, you'll experience the atmosphere, legends and characters who made this one of the greatest cities in the world.

GREAT FIRES
Step into the smoky streets of the city and uncover the dramatic story of the Great fire in 1666. This immersive tour reveals how flames reshaped the city and its people, from medieval alleyways to iconic landmarks, bringing to life tales of survival, destruction, rebuilding and the enduring spirit of Londoners. This 2 hour tour begins at The Monument close to where the fire began and ends at St Paul's Cathedral.
THE BLITZ: THE SECOND GREAT FIRE
In the second world war the City of London endured relentless bombing between 7th Sept 1940 to the 11th May 1941, with 57 consecutive nights of bombing. It transformed the skyline and tested the resilience of its people. Night after night, fire consumed historic streets, businesses and churches, yet communities persisted through the fear and destruction. The attacks becoming a defining symbol of wartime endurance, sacrifice and determination. This 2 hour tour begins at the Firefighters memorial by St Paul's and ends at the Church of St Dunstan's in the East.
FLEET STREET
